The basis of this simulation
Put in your own purchase price and everything is recalculated on that basis.
- Scope — the fittings, welding, threading and cutting at the point where the branch line takes off to an SP head. Main pipe and cross-main take-offs, the head itself and the pipe material are not included.
- Sizes — SP head branch fittings come as 50×25 · 40×25 · 32×25 · 25×25 depending on the branch line diameter. This calculation is based on the smallest, 25×25; where larger diameters are mixed in, the saving is greater than this.
- Labor cost — a fixed rate is applied (visitors cannot change it). For a calculation on your own labor rates, please ask for a quotation.
- Construction period — weld points are halved and main pipe cutting and bevel preparation disappear, so the schedule shortens. How many days are saved depends on manpower and parallel work, so we do not put a figure on it.
- The connection on the branch side is one point in either method, so it is left out of the calculation.
- Actual amounts may vary with site conditions and the material supply situation.

It is not a number made by cutting prices. Weld points go down, the main pipe is never cut, and the welding conditions are fixed by the geometry — so the steps themselves disappear.
